Ball State University RFP CMc Village Development Event Plaza and Martin Street Improvements NOTIFICATION OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS The Facilities Planning & Management of Ball State University will solicit and interview prospective Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) firms in preparation of approval for the Village Development – Event Plaza and Martin Street Improvements. Ball State has two separate projects that are part of the University's plan to revitalize the adjacent commercial Village district. The first project is the Village Development – Events Plaza a new central gathering place envisioned to serve both the Ball State community as well as the larger Muncie community. A secondary project is the Martin Street Improvements where the University wants to re-imagine future treatments of this one-block section of Martin Street to better connect the campus to the heart of The Village and Event Plaza. The Construction Manager as Constructor (CMc) will provide preconstruction services, cost estimating and coordinate/manage the construction of these two projects working with the University and design team.
