Beach Haven BEACH HAVEN OCEAN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY NOTICE OF ONLINE AUCTION OF ONE (1) YEAR BOAT SLIP LEASES Online Auction Site: www.Govdeals.com Length of Auction: 7 Days Start Date: Thursday, May 21, 2026 Auction Fees: Successful buyer will be required to pay 12.5% of the winning bid amount through proceeds of the bid. Minimum Bid: Minimum bid for each property/slip shall be $650.00. Payment: Electronic Payment through Govdeals.com within three (3) days is required. Possession: Within 10 business days (excluding holidays) of the close of the auction the successful bidder shall execute a Lease Agreement and Hold Harmless Indemnification Agreement with the Borough of Beach Haven, Municipal Clerk, 300 Engleside Ave., Beach Haven, NJ 08008. Beginning in June, the successful bidder may take possession of the property with the lease term expiring on May 31 of every year. If the lease agreement is not executed within 10 business days of the close of the auction and no other special arrangements have been made with the Beach Haven Municipal Clerk, the property shall be offered to the next highest bidder or re-offered for lease by auction. The default bidder will be disqualified by Govdeals, prohibited from participating in any other Beach Haven auctions and shall be subject to a default bidder fee. Other Terms: The slips are leased as is and without any warranty express or implied and are further leased without tie lines. The leasee may not install any cleats on the bulkhead or cleats, nails or other devices on any tide piling without receiving express written permission from the Borough Clerk pursuant to a written application providing detail as to what cleats, nails, or other improvements are sought by the leasee. Execution of a lease agreement for a slip does not include or imply reserved or dedicated parking spaces. Use of the slip shall be limited to the leasee only; the slips may not be sublet.
