AIRFIELD PAVEMENT REPAIRS – REHABILITATE TERMINAL APRON GRIFFISS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ONEIDA COUNTY, ROME, NEW YORK The Airfield Pavement Repairs – Rehabilitate Terminal Apron project includes isolated areas of concrete pavement repairs within a portion of the Terminal Apron area. The concrete terminal aprons are remnants from the USAF and were constructed in the 1940s. Concrete cracks and spalled areas are evident and have created uneven pavement with loose aggregate, contributing to foreign object debris (FOD) concerns. Concrete pavement repairs will consist of partial depth spall repairs, isolated full depth repairs using PCC pavement, crack repair and joint sealant repair. Total concrete pavement repair area is approximately 9,210 SF. Electronic PDF copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained at no expense from C&S Engineers, on behalf of the purchasing department, starting on February 24, 2026 at 9:00am. Once the required information is recorded, the contact will receive an email with the attached documents or a download link dependent upon file size. The Bidder will be responsible for any and all printing and shipping costs of plans and specifications, and selection of a printing company, as deemed necessary in order to prepare their Bid. A deposit in the amount of 5% of the bid will be required. This deposit shall consist of a bid bond or certified check payable to the COUNTY OF ONEIDA. Failure to submit a bid bond or certified check with bid will result in automatic disqualification of bid. Failure to submit a bid upon the proposal form(s) in the proposal book furnished by the Oneida County will result in automatic disqualification of bid. Performance and Material & Labor payment bonds will be required for an amount not less than 100% of bid price. Packages containing bids must be sealed marked and addressed to the Director of Purchasing, Griffiss International Airport, 660 Hangar Road, Suite 223, Rome, NY 13441. A pre-bid conference has been scheduled in order to review the specific requirements of this contract. All prospective bidders are encouraged to attend.
