Construction Manager at Risk – Bondurant Municipal Water Treatment Facility
City of Bondurant
The City of Bondurant intends to enter a guaranteed maximum price contract for the Bondurant Municipal Water Treatment Facility.
This project is subject to the State of Iowa Construction Management at Risk (CMaR) requirements.
The City of Bondurant will publish a request for statements of qualifications (RFQ) for CMaR services for the project on September 26, 2025. The CMaR will be engaged using a two-step solicitation process. A CMaR with sufficient qualifications based on the following selection criteria will be offered the opportunity to submit a proposal to serve as CMaR for the project. A shortlist of evaluated firms will be compiled, and invitations for firm interviews may be part of the selection process. Please note this is a project funded by SRF and all SRF requirements must be met.
Criteria will include:
• Experience with projects of similar size and scope
• Past performance
• Safety record
• Proposed personnel
• Proposed methodology
At the proposal stage, qualified respondents will be asked to submit their proposed fees for the project. The City of Bondurant will select the CMaR whose proposal offers the best value based on the published selection criteria and its ranking evaluation at the conclusion of the selection process.
