Borough of Haddon Heights Planning Board
Take notice that James & Chelsea Kowalski have applied to the Planning Board of the Borough of Haddon Heights for an amendment to their original application for a bulk variance to add a 2.5 story addition to the property. The amendment is to increase the height of the structure from 27 ft 9 in to 30 ft 5 in, at the premises located on Block 7 Lot 4 at 22 First Avenue in Haddon Heights, NJ, and for any other variances, waivers, or approvals deemed necessary to permit the approval of this application. The height limit in the R-1 zone is 35 feet. James and Chelsea went before the Planning Board in May of 2025 and their application was approved for a bulk variance.
A hearing on said amended application will be held by the Planning Board on March 19, 2026 at 7pm at the Haddon Heights Community Center located at 321 Seventh Avenue, Haddon Heights, NJ, at which time any interested person may be heard concerning said application. You may appear either in person or by attorney to present any comments or objections concerning the application.
All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public and are on file in the Service Operations Facility in the office of the Secretary of the Planning Board located at 514 W. Atlantic Avenue Haddon Heights, NJ 08035. The document may be inspected between the hours of 8am and 12:00pm Monday through Thursday.
