TAKE NOTICE that a hearing will be held on October 7, 2025 before the Borough of Hopatcong Land Use Board in Municipal Building, Hopatcong, Sussex County on the application of the undersigned for variances:
Ordinance 242-38D(2) minimum lot width
Ordinance 242-38D(4) minimum front yard setback
Ordinance 242-38D(5) minimum side yard setback
Ordinance 242-38D(7) maximum building height
Ordinance 242-18A construction within 50 feet of the lake
Ordinance 242-11C construction in an area containing steep and critical slopes
Ordinance 242-15B(2) maximum size of the footprint of an accessory structure to authorize construction of a single-family home and detached garage and installation of a tram on the upper portion of a lot to access the lakefront
Permitting construction of a single family house and detached garage on premises located at 326 and 343 Squaw Trail, Hopatcong, NJ and designated as Block 50411 and 50413, Lots 21 and 8 on the Borough of Hopatcong Tax Map.
Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the LAND USE BOARD.
The application and supporting documents will be on file in the Building Department Office located at the Borough of Hopatcong Municipal Building, 111 River Styx Road, Hopatcong, NJ ten days prior to hearing, and are available for inspection during regular office hours.
The hearing will be at 7:00 p.m. at the Hopatcong Municipal Building on the aforementioned date.
