Borough of Paramus Planning Board Please take notice that the Borough of Paramus Planning Board will during a SPECIAL public Board hearing on TUESDAY, MARCH 10TH, 2026 at 6PM at PARAMUS BOROUGH HALL, 1 JOCKISH SQUARE, LOWER LEVEL, CAUCUS CONFERENCE ROOM, ADOPT AN AMENDEDMENT OF THE BOROUGH'S FOURTH ROUND HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE PLAN. Please take notice that, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-13 of the New Jersey Municipal Land Use Law ( the 'MLUL'), the Borough of Paramus Planning Board will adopt an amendment during a SPECIAL hearing at 6:00PM on TUESDAY, MARCH 10th, 2026 in the CAUCUS ROOM, LOWER LEVEL at PARAMUS BOROUGH HALL, 1 JOCKISH SQUARE, PARAMUS, NJ 07652, to hear public comment on the adoption of a FIRST AMENDMENT OF THE BOROUGH'S FOURTH ROUND HOUSING ELEMENT AND FAIR SHARE HOUSING PLAN by way of resolution. The proposed Amendment to the Borough's Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Housing Plan was prepared in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40:55D-28(b)(3) of the MLUL and the mandatory requirements of a Housing Element under the recently amended New Jersey Fair Housing Act (P.L. 2024, c.2), relevant regulations of the New Jersey Council On Affordable Housing ("COAH"), and the Administrative Office of the Courts Directive # 14-24. The Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan also delineates the actions taken, and to be taken, by the Borough to create a "realistic opportunity" to satisfy its "fair share" of the regional need for affordable housing. A copy of the proposed Amendment of the Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan, and any other relevant documents, will be on file for the public inspection on or before February 27, 2026 in the Paramus Borough Hall, office of the Clerk, 1 Jockish Square, Paramus, New Jersey 07652 between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday. Any party interested in commenting on the Amended Fourth Round Housing Element and Fair Share Plan may do so at the public hearing or may submit written comments to the Planning Board prior to the public hearing date.
