Please take notice that on June 25, 2026 at 7:30 pm at the Rumson Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey, the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Rumson will hold a public hearing on the application of Jeffrey and Whitney Payne, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard.
The location of the premise in question is in the NB/R-4 Zone as shown on the Borough Tax Map, Block 100, Lot 14 and commonly known as 25 Ridge Rd., Rumson, New Jersey.
The Applicant is applying for approval of variances as follows:
1. Minimum combined side yard setback of 25.1 feet whereas 34.5 feet is required and 41.1 feet currently exists (new).
2. Minimum side yard setback of 10.1 feet whereas 12.5 feet is required (existing condition).
3. Detached garage located within front yard and side yard setback areas (existing condition).
4. Parking in front yard setback (relocated, more conforming, new).
All persons interested in this application will be given ample opportunity to be heard at the above. A copy of the application and supporting documents are on file at the Rumson Municipal Building, 80 East River Road, Rumson, New Jersey and can be examined on the Borough Website (www.rumsonnj.gov) under the "Government" tab, then selecting "Zoning Board".
