C I T Y O F O R M O N D B E A C H PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Adjustments and Appeals of the City of Ormond Beach, Florida pursuant to the City's Land Development Code, will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, June 03, 2026, at 6:00 PM in the City Commission Chambers, City Hall, 22 South Beach Street, Ormond Beach, Florida, for the purpose of hearing all parties in interest and to consider and act upon the application of Ted and Bob's Aluminum & Construction, Inc., on behalf of Travis and Whitney Richardson, property owners of 694-A Flamingo Drive. The subject property is zoned as R-4, (Single-Family Cluster and Townhouse). The applicant is requesting a side yard variance to allow construction of a hard-roof glass room. Section 2-17(B)(12)(c) of the Land Development Code requires a side yard setback of 20 feet. The side yard setback of the home is currently nonconforming at 12.6 feet. A variance of 7.4 feet to the required side yard setback of 20 feet is requested for a final side yard setback of 12.6 feet in order to construct a hard-roof glass room on the east side yard.
