CALL FOR ELECTION

CALL FOR ELECTION The Board of Directors of Electrical District Number Six hereby calls for an election to be held to fill the office of two Directors on Saturday, January 9, 2027. Nominating petitions can be filed by a candidate at the District offices located at 34630 North Schnepf Road, San Tan Valley, Arizona 85140 anytime between Wednesday, August 12, 2026, and Friday, September 11, 2026. There is only one candidate for each open position expected to file nomination papers. The District expects that the election will be cancelled pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-410. As such, any write-in candidate nomination papers must be filed by a candidate at the District offices located at 34630 North Schnepf Road, San Tan Valley, Arizona 85140 no later than Friday, September 26, 2026, in order to avoid having the election cancelled. If the election is not cancelled, the polls will be open at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m. The polling place shall be the District office, located at 34630 North Schnepf Road, San Tan Valley, Arizona 85140.
