CAMDEN COUNTY AGRICULTURE DEVELOPMENT BOARD SPECIAL MEETING/PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
NOTICE is hereby given that the Camden County Agriculture Development Board (CADB) will conduct a special meeting and public hearing in-person on Monday, November 24, 2025, 10:30am at Elm Volunteer Fire Company, 569 White Horse Pike, Hammonton with the purpose of introducing the proposed expansion plan for Camden County's Agricultural Development Area (ADA). An ADA is defined by the State Agriculture Development Committee as "an area a CADB identifies that includes lands currently in agricultural use or that have the potential for future agricultural use, and in which agriculture is zoned as a permitted use. ADAs document where agriculture is the preferred, but not necessarily the exclusive, use of the land. Inclusion in an ADA is required for a farm to be eligible for farmland preservation and benefits, such as soil and water cost share grants, under the Agriculture Retention and Development Act (ARDA), N.J.S.A. 4:1C-1, et seq."
