CAMINO REAL REGIONAL MOBILITY AUTHORITY (CRRMA) INVITATION TO BID – ALAMO ALTO TRAIL PROJECT, PHASE 3 (CSJ: 0924-06-731)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project generally consists of the construction of a new 12-foot-wide shared use path (SUP), including crosswalks, ADA ramps, a pedestrian bridge, pavement markings, signs, and illumination. The project includes construction of approximately 4.1 miles of SUP between Fabens and Tornillo, Texas along SH 20 from Grace Street to FM 1109.
BIDDER REQUIREMENT: Proposal Volume I of II (Bid Packet) will only be issued to proposed bidders that: (1) are Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Prequalified Contractors, qualified under Item 2L Section 2 "Instructions to Bidders" of the TxDOT Local Government General Requirements and Covenants; and (2) have not been determined by the CRRMA to have been in default under a CRRMA contract within the past five (5) years.
BID PACKET AND PLANS & SPECIFICATIONS: Proposal Volume I of II (Bid Packet) is available electronically to TxDOT qualified bidders by sending an email request to Laura.Nevarez@atkinsrealis.com. QUESTIONS DUE DATE: Questions may be submitted to Edgar Fino at Edgar.Fino@atkinsrealis.com until May 20, 2026, at 5:00 PM (MT).
BID DUE DATE: Sealed bids must be received before 10:00 AM (MT) by the CRRMA on June 2, 2026, at the Thorman Conference Room in the basement of the El Paso City 3 Building, located at 801 Texas Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79901 at which time they will be opened and publicly read by the CRRMA. Bidder's list will be available after the completion of the Bid Reading at the CRRMA website: www.crrma.org/procurements
Any extensions or changes in the Bid Packet, Plans & Specifications, or due date will be posted as an addendum on the Procurements Page of the CRRMA website: www.crrma.org. The CRRMA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive all technicalities, and to accept the bid or bids most beneficial to the CRRMA, as applicable.
