CAPE COD REGIONAL GOVERNMENT ASSEMBLY OF DELEGATES Notice of Public Hearing Proposed Ordinance 2026-07 ****** On March 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m., the Cape Cod Regional Government (Barnstable County) Assembly of Delegates will hold a hybrid (in-person and virtual) public hearing on Proposed Ordinance 2026-07, To authorize funds and the authority to file loan application(s) for the purpose of making loans to residents of the County for repairing, replacing and/or upgrading residential septic systems, inclusive of sewer connections and innovative/alternative septic systems, in participating towns pursuant to agreements between the County and residential property owners, including all costs incidental and related thereto, and further, to add to the County's operating budget for Fiscal Year 2026, as enacted in Ordinances No. 2025-03 and 2025-04, by making supplemental appropriations for the Fiscal Year two thousand and twenty-six. The public hearing will be held in the Mary Pat Flynn Conference Center at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex, 3195 Main Street – Route 6A, in the town of Barnstable, and via Microsoft Teams. The hearings will be open to anyone wishing to testify or make public comment on the proposed ordinances. The full text of the proposed ordinance has been electronically distributed to the Town Clerk of each town in Barnstable County and is also available on the Cape Cod Regional Government website. Instructions on accessing the public hearing will be detailed on the Assembly of Delegates Business Calendar for March 4, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. located at https://www.capecod.gov/county-government/meeting-center/. Written comments can also be emailed to assembly@capecod.gov before noon on the date of the public hearing.
