CARSON CITY PURCHASING AND CONTRACTS NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS BID No. 26300143 PWP No. CC-2026-053 D2 Stewart St & Fairview Dr Pavement Preservation Project Engineer's Estimate $933,260.00 SUMMARY: Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the D2 Stewart St & Fairview Dr Pavement Preservation Project. This project combines two District 2 pavement preservation projects, P303525002 – District 2 Stewart Street Preservation Project and P303525003 – Fairview Drive Pavement Preservation. The Stewart Street project includes but is not limited to application of type 3 modified rapid setting slurry seal; asphaltic concrete pavement patching, replacement, and mill and overlay; construction of sidewalk, valley gutter, curb and gutter, and ADA ramps; installation of AC-powered RRFB assemblies and luminaire; and signing and striping improvements. The limits of construction are along Stewart Street from Little Lane to E. William St. The Fairview project includes but is not limited to placing Type 3 Modified rapid setting slurry seal, pavement patching, and restriping of Fairview Drive from Roop Street east to the bridge approach slab at the I-580 underpass. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that all bidders shall be licensed by the State of Nevada to do the type and value of work contemplated in this project. The successful bidder shall possess a valid and applicable contractor's license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board under the provisions of Chapter 624 of Nevada Revised Statutes, at the time of submitting its bid. BID DOCUMENTS: Digital copies of the plans, specifications and related documents for this project may be examined and downloaded through the link on the Carson City website http://www.carson.org/bids. QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be submitted via NGEM under the "QUESTIONS TAB", due to the Nevada Day Holiday, questions must be submitted no later than Thursday, October 30, 2025. ADDENDA: All addenda can be found through the link on Carson City's website. It is each bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed bid. SEALED BIDS must be submitted electronically via the online bidding system (NGEM). The link can be found through the Carson City's website http://www.carson.org/bids. Bids must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. on November 6, 2025. BID OPENING will be held online via webex meeting at 2:30 p.m. on November 6, 2025, meeting link is provided in the activities tab in NGEM and will also be provided in an addendum. Bidders, their representatives, and all other interested persons may be present during the bid opening. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department.
