Carmine Street Improvement Project
Engineer's Estimate $680,000
SUMMARY: Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Carmine Street Improvement Project – a Federally Funded Project which includes but is not limited to reconstruction of PCC improvements including; curb and gutter, sidewalk, and valley gutter, as well as asphalt patching, storm drain improvements, striping and signage replacement, and all incidentals involved. Sealed bids must be submitted in accordance with the bid documents, drawings and plans, specifications and special conditions related hereto.
CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: This is a Federal-aid contract and the requirements for such shall apply. On a Federal-aid contract, any Contractor otherwise qualified by the State of Nevada to perform such work is not required to be licensed nor to submit application for license in advance of submitting a bid or having such bid considered, provided, however, that such exception does not constitute a waiver of the State's right under its license laws to require a Contractor, determined to be a successful bidder, to be licensed to do business in the State of Nevada in connection with the award of the contract to him.

QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be submitted via NGEM under the "QUESTIONS TAB" and can be submitted any time up to a minimum of (4) working days prior to bid opening.
ADDENDA: All addenda can be found through the link on Carson City's website. It is each bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed bid.
SEALED BIDS must be submitted electronically via the online bidding system (NGEM). Bids must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. on January 22, 2026.
BID OPENING will be held online via webex meeting at 2:00 p.m. on January 22, 202. Bidders, their representatives, and all other interested persons may be present during the bid opening.
AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. You are encouraged to visit the City's website for that recommendation or contact Carol Akers at CAkers@carson.org for the recommendation.
BID AWARD will be made by the Carson City Regional Transportation Commission and is tentatively scheduled for February 11, 2026. The meeting will be held in the Robert "Bob" Crowell Board Room of the Carson City Community Center, 851 East William Street, Carson City, Nevada 89701 beginning at 4:30 p.m.
PRICES must be quoted FOB Carson City, Nevada and are valid for sixty (60) calendar days after the BID OPENING.
