CARSON CITY PURCHASING AND CONTRACTS NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS BID No.'s (1) 27300013 & (2) 27300014 PWP No.'s (1) CC-2026-265 & (2) CC-2026-266 (1) 2026 Long Line & (2) 2026 Short Line SUMMARY: (1) Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the Carson City 2026 Long Line Striping Project which consists of placing approximately 1,300,000 linear feet of painted pavement markings using Nevada Type II waterborne paint, including layout, traffic control, and all other incidentals needed to complete project. (2) Carson City is accepting sealed bids for all labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for the 2026 Shortline Striping Project. Short-line striping will include transverse markings like crosswalks, stop bars, and symbols along Carson Street and College Parkway from College Drive to Lompa Lane. CONTRACTOR'S LICENSE: Carson City has determined that all bidders shall be licensed by the State of Nevada to do the type and value of work contemplated in this project. The successful bidder shall possess a valid and applicable contractor's license issued by the Nevada State Contractors Board under the provisions of Chapter 624 of Nevada Revised Statutes, at the time of submitting its bid. BID DOCUMENTS: Digital copies of the plans, specifications and related documents for this project may be examined and downloaded through the link on the Carson City website http://www.carsoncity.gov/bids. QUESTIONS regarding this bid must be submitted in writing via NGEM under the "Questions Tab" and must be received a minimum of four (4) working days prior to bid opening. ADDENDA: All addenda can be found through the link on Carson City's website. It is each bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed bid. SEALED BIDS must be submitted electronically via the online bidding system (NGEM). The link can be found through the Carson City's website http://www.carsoncity.gov/bids. Bids must be received not later than 2:00 p.m. on March 26, 2026. BID OPENING will be held online via webex meeting at 2:30 p.m. on March 26, 2026, for both projects, meeting link is provided in the activities tab in NGEM. AWARD RECOMMENDATION will be made by the Carson City Purchasing and Contracts Department. BID AWARD will be made by the Carson City Regional Transportation Commission and is tentatively scheduled for April 8, 2026.
