CARSON CITY PURCHASING AND CONTRACTS REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATION RFQ No. 27300074 Public Transportation Operating Services The Carson City Regional Transportation Commission (RTC), hereafter referred to as Carson City or City, invites qualified consulting firms (Proposer(s)) to submit Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) for PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION OPERATING SERVICES. The contract is a federally funded contract through various Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grants. Proposals shall be submitted in accordance with the Documents and Requirements as set forth in the formal "Request for Qualifications." RFQ DOCUMENTS may be downloaded through the link on Carson City's website http://carsoncity.gov/Bids ADDENDA: All addenda are posted through the link on the City's website. It is each bidder's responsibility to ensure that they have received all addenda prior to submission of their sealed proposal. SOQ must be submitted electronically through the online solicitation system Nevada Government Electronic Marketplace ("NGEM") by no later than, 2:00 p.m. on July 14, 2026. RECOMMENDATION FOR AWARD will be made by Carson City Public Works Department based on the evaluation results of the Review and Selection Committee. Once the committee has made a recommendation, the results will be posted on Carson City's website www.carsoncity.gov/bids and all respondents will be notified by e-mail of the recommendation for award to the successful respondent. FINAL SELECTION will be made by the City Review and Selection Committee, and the final contract will be awarded by the Carson City Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) at their regular meeting tentatively scheduled for August 12, 2026. Should it become necessary to reschedule the date set for award, notice will be provided to those finalists selected. In all instances, a decision rendered by the RTC shall be deemed final.
