HEARING NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the K. Hovnanian's Lofts at Kingsley Urban Renewal, LLC has submitted an application to the City of Asbury Park's Technical Review Committee for review of an application to construct four (4) multi-family residential buildings on approximately 1.245 acres of property bounded by Kingsley Street, Second Avenue, and Third Avenue, designated as Block 4003, Lots 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 on the City Tax Map. The proposed development will consist of (i) seven 4-story townhomes, (ii) four 3-story townhomes, and (iii) two 4-story buildings each having 17 residential units. The property is located in the Prime Renewal Area of the Waterfront Redevelopment Area. The applicant seeks all necessary variances, design exceptions and/or waivers that may occur on the premises, including, but not limited to, the following: building height of 4 stories, minimum lot frontage of 100 feet, and/or minimum tract area of 15,000 square feet.
The Applicant reserves the right to amend its application and shall apply for such other variances or design waivers interpretations, exceptions, approvals and/or relief the need of which becomes necessary or apparent during the course of the application process and/or public hearings.
A public hearing has been scheduled for January 23, 2026 at 10:00 AM before the City of Asbury Park Technical Review Committee at the Municipal Building, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, New Jersey.
The public may inspect all documents relating to this application at the Department of Zoning and Planning, One Municipal Plaza, Asbury Park, New Jersey, between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM.
This notice is sent to you by the applicant consistent with municipal ordinance requirements and the City's Waterfront Redevelopment Plan.
