REQUEST FOR BIDS
EAST TERRY STREET STORMWATER AND MULTI-USE PATHWAY PROJECT (RFB 25-31)
DUE: 2:00 P.M., TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2026
The City of Bonita Springs invites qualified contractors to submit sealed bids in response to RFB 25-31, East Terry Street Stormwater and Multi-Use Pathway Project.
Funding for this project is from FloridaCommerce through a joint agreement for U.S. Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Community Development Block Grant – Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) funds. All services must adhere to the HUD CDBG-MIT regulations and requirements. Funding is also being provided by the Federal Highway Administration through a joint agreement with Florida Department of Transportation's Local Agency Program (LAP).
Interested respondents must register their firm via the City of Bonita Springs website, www.cityofbonitasprings.org, under the Procurement tab, in order to access the official bid package. Please Note: If the document package is not obtained from the City website, the RFB response will not be accepted.
The respondent shall submit one (1) original and three (3) copies and one (1) flash drive. The selected Respondent(s) will be required to enter into an agreement with the City using the City's forms. Sealed bids will be received by the City Clerk, Bonita Springs City Hall, 9101 Bonita Beach Rd., Bonita Springs, FL 34135, until 2:00 p.m. (ET), Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Submissions will be publicly opened at 2:00 p.m. (ET), February 10, 2026, at Bonita Springs City Hall, 9101 Bonita Beach Rd., Bonita Springs, FL 34135. Late submissions will not be considered.
A MANDATORY PRE-BID CONFERENCE will be held at 10:00 a.m. (ET) Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Bonita Springs City Hall, 9101 Bonita Beach Road, Bonita Springs, FL 34135, in Conference Room 118. Bids submitted by vendors who do not attend the Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will not be considered.
All questions related to bidding procedures or project specifications must be submitted in writing to procurement@cityofbonitasprings.org no later than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled bid opening date.
All firms are hereby placed on notice that neither the City Council, nor any employee of the City of Bonita Springs, nor members of the Selection Committee wish to be lobbied either individually or collectively about this project. Firms and their agents are hereby placed on notice that they are not to contact members of the City Council or staff members for such purposes as holding meetings of introduction, dinners, etc. to influence the outcome of the selection process, if they intend to, or have submitted a proposal or Letter of Interest for this project.
The City of Bonita Springs reserves the right to amend or clarify any requirements or qualifications where it deems necessary. Any such amendments or clarifications will be issued as addenda and posted on the City's official website, www.cityofbonitasprings.org, prior to the submission deadline. It is the sole responsibility of the Respondent to monitor the website for any addenda. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive defects in any responses received, re-advertise the solicitation, and select the consultant that best meets the needs of the City. This notice and related solicitation documents may be made available in alternative accessible formats upon request to the City Clerk.
