CITY OF CAMDEN ZONING BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TAKE NOTICE THAT ON Monday, August 3, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. a hearing will be held before the City of Camden Zoning Board of Adjustment on the application of CSA 5, LLC to appeal the decision of the City Zoning Officer in order to convert approximately 10,000 square feet on the second and third floor of the properties located at 719-725 Broadway, designated as Block 248, Lot 22, 23, 24, and 25 on the City Tax Map into 9 residential apartments, consisting of four (4) studio units, one (1) efficiency unit, three (3) one-bedroom units, and one (1) bi-level two-bedroom unit, and to permit 530 Royden Avenue, designated as Block 212, Lot 66 on the City Tax Map, and 532 Royden Avenu, designated as Block 212, Lot 67 on the City Tax Map, to provide off-street parking for the proposed conversion of 719-725 Broadway. The Applicant seeks a use variance for 719-725 Broadway as multi-family dwelling units are not permitted in the C-2 zone. The Applicant also seeks a use variance for 530 and 532 Royden Avenue to permit a stand-alone parking lot in connection with the proposal at 719-725 Broadway where a stand-alone parking lot is not a permitted principal use in the zone. The Applicant seeks a site plan waiver for the entire application. The Applicant will seek any and all other variances, deviations, waivers or approvals that the Board or its professional staff may deem necessary upon review of the application. The City of Camden Zoning Board will conduct the hearing on this in person at the City of Camden City Council Chambers, City Hall, Second Floor, Sixth and Market Streets, Camden, New Jersey 08101. When this case is called you may appear in person or with an attorney and present any support and/or objection that you may have to the granting of the relief sought in the appeal.
