CITY OF COLONIAL HEIGHTS ROANOKE AVENUE RECONSTRUCTION PUBLIC HEARING June 22, 2026 At 6:00 pm Colonial Heights Community Center 157 Roanoke Ave Colonial Heights VA, 23834 The City of Colonial Heights (City) is holding a public hearing as part of the Roanoke Avenue Reconstruction Project. City representatives and design staff will be present to discuss the project's design and location, to answer your questions, and receive comments on the proposed project. The City is proposing pavement reconstruction of Roanoke Avenue. The project will also include new sidewalk from Meridian Avenue to the cul-de-sac at the end of Roanoke Ave. A map of the project, plans and environmental documentation concerning the project are available for review at the City of Colonial Heights Department of Public Works located at 200 Highland Avenue Colonial Heights, VA 23834. A preliminary project schedule, preliminary property impact information, right of way information, and the approved Programmatic Categorical Exclusion (PCE) environmental document for the proposed project will be made available for review and comment prior to the hearing, during the hearing, and for 10 days after the hearing at the address listed above.
