CITY OF FORT MYERS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The City of Fort Myers Planning Board will hold public hearings to consider the following:
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to rezone 6 +/- acres located at 10631-10681 Colonial Blvd. and a portion of 10721 Colonial Blvd., from Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Mixed Use (MU) to Commercial Intensive Non-Residential (CI-NR). (Ward 2) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to rezone 0.48 +/- acres located at 4366 Ballard Rd., from Residential Single-family (RS-7) to Neighborhood Commercial (NC). (Ward 1) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a Planned Unit Development (PUD) located at 1105 Seaboard Street to allow multi-family development. (Ward 1) (Quasi-Judicial)
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider an amendment to LDC Chapter 98 Administration.
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider an amendment to LDC Chapter 118 Land Use Regulations.
The hearings will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 1:00 pm in Council Chambers at Oscar M. Corbin Jr. City Hall, 2200 Second St, Fort Myers, Florida.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings & that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony & evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
