CITY OF FORT MYERS NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS
The City of Fort Myers Planning Board will hold public hearings to consider the following:
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request to rezone 19.79 +/- acres located at 1750 Ortiz Ave., from Planned Unit Development (PUD) (expired) to Light Industrial (IL). (Ward 1) (Quasi-Judicial).
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider an amendment to the Royal Palm Square Planned Unit Development (PUD) located at 1382 Colonial Blvd. (Ward 5) (Quasi-Judicial)
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider an amendment to the Garden Street Iron and Metal Planned Unit Development (PUD) located at 3520-3460 Old Metro Pkwy. (Ward 3) (Quasi-Judicial)
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider a request for a Planned Unit Development (PUD) to allow bonus density at 2531 & 2539 Second Street and Folio No. 10485618. (Ward 4) (Quasi-Judicial)
PUBLIC HEARING: Consider amendments to Comprehensive Plan Element 4 Municipal Services, Element 8 Community Appearance, and Element 12 Concurrency Management.
The hearings will be held on Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at 1:00 pm in Council Chambers at Oscar M. Corbin Jr. City Hall, 2200 Second St, Fort Myers, Florida.
If a person decides to appeal any decision made by the Planning Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearing, he or she will need a record of the proceedings & that, for such purpose, he or she may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceeding is made, which includes the testimony & evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
