CITY OF GENESEO - NEW CATEGORY OF LIQUOR LICENSE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The City of Geneseo will be considering a change to Chapter 10: Article 3 of the City Code of Ordinances, regarding alcoholic beverage sales, by adding a new category of license "Class J Service Business BYOB License." This change would allow for up to 5 new licenses to be issued to future service business applicants. It is hereby announced that a public hearing will be held to consider this change beginning at 5:45 PM on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the City Council Chambers, 115 S. Oakwood Ave., Geneseo IL. Written comments will be accepted until 4:00 PM Tuesday, October 14, 2025, and should be addressed to City of Geneseo – City Clerk, 115 S. Oakwood Avenue, Geneseo IL 61254.
