CITY OF KELLEY COUNCIL MEETING Tuesday, February 24, 2026 The City of Kelley Council meeting was called to order at 7:00 pm by Mayor Jackie Sapp. Roll Call: Present: Tim Salasek, Brendan Burtnett, Ben Adams, Ron Finch and Alex Lundgren . Absent: None. Also present: Jaeda Davies – City Clerk; Garret Davies - public works. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Burtnett, to approve the consent agenda. Those items approved include the Agenda for February 24, 2026. All Ayes. Mayor Sapp opened the public hearing for FY 2026 Budget amendment #2 at 7:01pm. Davies noted that no questions, comments, or concerns have been received at City Hall verbally or in writing prior to this public hearing. Having no questions from those present, and no further discussion of the Council, Mayor Sapp closed the public hearing at 7:02m. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Lundgren, to approve Resolution #14: Adoption of FY 2026 Budget Amendment #2. Motion approved with a vote of 5-0. Council Discusssed the FY2027 Budget. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Burtnett to approve Resolution #15 Allowing the clerk to publish the Max Tax Levy. All Ayes. Motion was made by Lundgren, seconded by Burtnett to approve the intake and tile repair quotes from Hall. All Ayes. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Burtnett to approve Resolution #16: Waiving the Right to Review of Pudenz Estates. All Ayes. Council tabled Resolution #17: Ames Resource Recovery until we have more clarification. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Burtnett to Approve the mayor update. All Ayes. Clerk updated council on the Easter Egg Hunt the is happening March 29 2-4 being put on by the Kelley Connection Club. Motion was made by Adams, seconded by Lundgren to adjourn meeting at 7:54pm.
