CITY OF MILLVILLE PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that on the 13th day of July, 2026 at 6:30 PM, local time, a public hearing will be held before the City of Millville Planning Board (the "Board") at the Culver Center, 110 North 3rd Street, Millville, New Jersey, Cumberland County, at which time all interested persons will be given an opportunity to be heard. The Board will consider the application of PD Millville Redeveloper, LLC (the "Applicant") seeking preliminary and final major site plan approval with bulk variances and waivers set forth herein together with all other necessary variances and waivers to construct two (2) warehouses at West Buckshutem Road, City of Millville, New Jersey, Block 124, Lot 16.06 (the "Property").
The Property consists of approximately 42.56 acres and is currently vacant. Applicant is proposing to construct a warehousing facility with two (2) warehouses and two (2) access points along Buckshutem Road.
Applicant is requesting two (2) bulk variances in furtherance of the application. Pursuant to §30-135(L) of the City Land Use and Development Regulations, any permitted industrial use located adjacent to a district boundary line shall observe a building line setback of 200 feet from the district boundary line. This area shall constitute a buffer zone that may be utilized only for Planning Board approved uses. Applicant is proposing sixty-three (63') feet resulting from previous zoning change. Pursuant to §30-171(E) of the City Land Use and Development Regulations, the width of a driveway opening is limited to a maximum of thirty-five (35') feet at the street line. Applicant is proposing 110 feet at the east driveway opening as a result of County Roadway Widening Requirements.
Applicant is also requesting waivers from Preliminary Site Plan Checklist Items required pursuant to §30-45 of the City Land Use and Development Regulations as well as for certain information required for their Environmental Impact Statement pursuant to §30-46.E.2 of the City Land Use and Development Regulations.
All interested parties shall be provided with the opportunity to be heard at the public hearing of the Board on July 13th, 2026, at 6:30 PM and shall be entitled to testify before the Board and/or question the Applicant. The Board may continue the application and you are advised to contact the Secretary of the Board at the Municipal Building in order to confirm the date and time of the hearing. All documents relating to this application may be inspected by the public during normal business hours at the City's municipal building located at 12 South High Street, Millville, New Jersey 08332.
