CITY OF NEENAH NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 2026 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROGRAM PROPOSED USE OF FUNDS / ANNUAL ACTION PLAN The City of Neenah has drafted the 2026 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Annual Action Plan based on an estimated program budget as the final grant award has not been announced. The plan includes a program of activities to address the priority needs and objectives identified in the City of Neenah Consolidated Plan. The grant application to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development will be adjusted to reflect the actual grant award. Members of the public are invited to comment in writing by March 23, 2026 on the Annual Action Plan, and proposed use of funds, and/or to comment at a public hearing scheduled for March 11, 2026 at 4:00 P.M. in the Hauser Committee Room #120, City Administration Building, or to comment at the Common Council public hearing to be held March 18, 2026 at 6:00 P.M. in the Council Chambers, City Administration Building, 211 Walnut Street, Neenah. A copy of the proposed plan is available for review at the Department of Community Development, Room 313, in the City Administration Building, 211 Walnut Street, Neenah, or online under Community Development Block Grant at https://www.ci.neenah.wi.us/departments/community-development/block-grants/. Goals, objectives, and activities proposed to be funded include those supporting public services, blight elimination, redevelopment, housing, economic development, and planning and administration. Members of the public are encouraged to attend one or both of the public hearings scheduled for March 11 and March 18, 2026.
