The City Council of the City of Waukee, Iowa will consider a proposal to vacate the existing Gas Main Easement as recorded in Book 2022, Page 13513, legally described as:

A public hearing has been set to consider the vacation of the City's interest in the aforementioned easement for the 16th day of March, 2026, at 5:30 p.m., Waukee City Hall, 230 W. Hickman Road, Waukee, IA 50263.
The easement being vacated is depicted on the above referenced plat on file with the City Clerk of the City of Waukee, Iowa. If the Gas Main Easement is deemed by the City Council to be of no benefit to the public, the Council may vacate the same. The vacation of the easement would extinguish the easement and quiet title to the area to the owners of the property on which the easement is currently situated.
The public is invited to attend and participate in the public hearing to provide comment for consideration by the City Council concerning the vacation of the Gas Main Easement described above.
