NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE
The following Ordinance described by title only will be placed on Public Hearing at the regularly scheduled meeting of the City Commission of the City of West Palm Beach, Florida to be held on Monday, January 5, 2026, at 5:00 P.M. or as soon thereafter as possible and continuing from time to time and place to place as necessary at City Hall, 401 Clematis Street, West Palm Beach, Florida.
ORDINANCE NO. 5161-26
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE UTILITIES ELEMENT AND CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS ELEMENT TO UPDATE THE CITY'S 20 YEAR WATER SUPPLY PLAN AND THE CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM (CIP); STATING THE INTENT OF THE CITY COMMISSION TO AMEND THE COMPREHENSIVE PLAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH CHAPTER 163 FLORIDA STATUTES AND WITH OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE CITY'S COMPREHENSIVE PLAN; PROVIDING A CONFLICTS CLAUSE AND A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
Should any party seek to appeal any decision made by the City Commission with respect to any matter considered at such meeting or hearing, such person will need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. Said Ordinance may be inspected at the Office of the City Clerk at City Hall or by request to cityclerk@wpb.org. Interested parties may appear at said meeting to be heard with respect to these Ordinance. Should an Ordinance be vetoed, it will be considered by the City Commission at its next regularly scheduled meeting.
