NOTICE OF QUALIFYING FOR GENERAL ELECTION
Pursuant to Sec. 30-1 of the City of West Palm Beach Code of Ordinances
and Ordinance No. 4962-21
The City of West Palm Beach will hold a General Municipal Election on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, and Run-off Election, if necessary, on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for the purpose of electing three City Commission seats: one in District 1, one in District 3, and one in Distict 5. Persons seeking election may qualify with the City Clerk beginning at noon on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and ending at noon on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Qualifying is held during regular office hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
All persons seeking election as a City Commissioner shall be a qualified elector of the City and shall be a resident of the district for which he or she is to be elected. A candidate for the office of City Commissioner shall have continuously resided during the twelve-month period immediately prior to the date of election in the respective district from which the candidate seeks to qualify for election. The City Commissioners are elected at-large on a nonpartisan basis by a citywide vote.
Please note: City Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, in observance of Veteran's Day. City Hall will reopen on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
