CITY OF WORCESTER PROPOSED ORDINANCE
The City Council of the City of Worcester at a meeting held in City Hall on September 30, 2025 voted to advertise the following on a roll call vote of Ten Yeas and No Nays: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 29 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 2008 PROVIDING FOR STOP SIGNS FACING ELM STREET AND SEVER STREET In accordance with the provisions of Chapter 89, Section 9 of the General Laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts the following street is designated as the stop street at the intersection and in the direction indicated. Be it Ordained by the City Council of the City of Worcester as follows: Section 29 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule V, thereof, after the provision for: Ellsworth Street and Quinsigamond Avenue, Faces westbound traffic on Ellsworth Street the following two new provisions: Elm Street and Sever Street, Faces eastbound and westbound traffic on Elm Street Elm Street and Sever Street, Faces southbound traffic on Sever Street.
