CITY OF WORCESTER PROPOSED ORDINANCE The City Council of the City of Worcester at a meeting held in City Hall on February 3, 2026 voted to advertise the following on a roll call vote of Eleven Yeas and No Nays: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 47 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 2008 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON SCHOOL DAYS EXCEPT FOR SCHOOL BUSES ON A PORTION OF MURRAY AVENUE (JACOB HIATT MAGNET SCHOOL) Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Worcester as follows: Section 47 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule A, thereof, after the provision for: West Tatnuck, Mower Street, north side, "In Front of West Tatnuck School new and old buildings" the following new provision: Jacob Hiatt Magnet School, Murray Avenue, east side, from a point 110' north of Piedmont Street to a point 370' north of Piedmont Street, "No Parking School Bus Only 8am to 3pm.
