CITY OF WORCESTER PROPOSED ORDINANCE The City Council of the City of Worcester at a meeting held in City Hall on June 16, 2026 voted to advertise the following on a roll call vote of Eleven Yeas and No Nays: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 42 AND 47 OF CHAPTER 13 OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF 2008 TO PROHIBIT PARKING ON SCHOOL DAYS ON THE NORTH SIDE OF THORNDYKE ROAD Be It Ordained by the City Council of the City of Worcester as follows: PART I Section 42 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by inserting in Schedule I, thereof, after the provision for: Thomas Street, Both sides, from Commercial Street to Summer Street, "No Parking Anytime" the following new provision: Thorndyke Road, North side, Entire length, "No Parking 8am to 6pm. School Days" PART II Section 47 of Chapter 13 of the Revised Ordinances of 2008 be and is hereby amended by rescinding in Schedule A the provision for: Thorndyke Road Elementary School, Thorndyke Road, North side, from a point 286' west of Beverly Road to a point 338' west of Beverly Road PO 1558 July10, 2026 July 10 2026 LNEO0546937
