CLAY FIRE TERRITORY – SEALED BID AUCTION The Clay Fire Territory will be accepting sealed bids for the following vehicles and equipment deemed surplus: - Vehicle 1: One (1) 2006 Zodiac Inflatable Boat, includes boat, trailer, and motor. Minimum bid: $2,000. - Vehicle 2: One (1) 2012 Ford Expedition with approximately 120,000 miles. Minimum bid: $3,500. - Vehicle 3: One (1) 2013 Ford Expedition with approximately 84,000 miles. Minimum bid: $4,000. - Vehicle 4: One (1) 2008 International Ambulance (Horton build) with approximately 143,000 miles. Minimum bid: $15,500. - Vehicle 5: One (1) 2000 Freightliner Tanker with approximately 74,000 miles. Minimum bid: $8,000. All vehicles have established minimum bids; any bid below the minimum will not be considered. All vehicles are sold "as is" with no warranty or guarantee implied. All emergency and auxiliary equipment will be removed prior to the final sale. Vehicles will be available for inspection beginning November 10, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM (EST), by appointment only. Sealed bids must be submitted to the Clay Fire Territory Administration Office, 18355 Auten Road, South Bend, Indiana 46637, in a packet clearly labeled "SEALED BID for Vehicle #___." Bids must be received no later than Friday, November 21, 2025, at 3:00 PM (EST). Each bid must clearly identify the vehicle number, bid amount, and include the bidder's name, address, and phone number. All bids will be opened and read aloud at that time. Successful bidders will take possession of the vehicle approximately 7–10 days after bid award, upon payment in full by cashier's check made payable to the Clay Fire Territory.
