Sealed Bids for the CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS TESTING SERVICES-CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM 2026
Delivered to Water & Sewer Division Building located in the City of Ithaca, New York will be received,(submitted electronic document by email or paper copy delivered on person or by mail) until May 21, 2025 at 2:00PM and then publicly opened and read aloud on W&S Conference Room located on the first floor of the building.
The proposed project is to provide Testing and Inspection Services for the identified projects included on the Contract Documents- Schedule A. All construction work is within City of Ithaca right of way. This project is a Not to Exceed Contract.

Each bid shall be accompanied by a deposit in the amount of: Five Percent (5%) of the Total Gross Sum Bid in the form of a Certified Check, Bank Draft, or Bid Bond. Cash will not be acceptable as a deposit. Bid deposits of all unsuccessful bidders shall be returned promptly upon execution of the contract with the successful bidder.

Amendments can only be accomplished by means of Addenda issued by the City of Ithaca or their designee. Written questions should be addressed to Eduardo Torres at the City of lthaca at etorres@cityofithaca.org. Questions must be received by 5:00 p.m. May 15, 2026.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the Owner. Attention of Bidders is particularly called to the requirements for ensuring that employees, applicants for employment, and contractors are not discriminated against; refer to the Contract Documents for additional information. There is no DBE participation goal required for this contract.
