COUNTY OF MONROE SEEKING APPLICATIONS FOR SOCIAL SERVICES BOARD
The County of Monroe is seeking applications from citizens/residents to serve on the Monroe County Social Services Board for an unexpired term ending October 31, 2026 as well as a new three (3) year term commencing October 31, 2026 and ending October 31, 2029. Service on County Boards and Commissions is vital in providing a broad and diverse perspective on decisions made on the direction of programs and services within our community. Leadership and governance on County Boards and Commissions provides opportunity for citizen involvement and participation. This appointment will be made by the Board of Commissioners.
Interested individuals may access information on meeting times, locations, criteria for the terms of office and the core mission of this Board on the County website. To be considered, you must fill out the Application for Appointment located on the County website and submit it by following the instructions. Deadline for submitting an application is Monday, July 27, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. Alternatively, applications and information are available at the County Finance Office, Monroe County Courthouse/Annex Building, 125 East Second Street, Monroe, Michigan 48161.
