The Central Valley Central School District invites sealed bids, in duplicate, for:

SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids will be received by the Owner until 1:00 pm, local time, Thursday, November 6, 2025, in the office of Jeremy Rich, Superintendent, at the Central Valley CSD District Office, 111 Fredrick Street, Ilion, New York 13357.
OPENING OF BIDS
Bids will be opened and read aloud at 1:05 pm on Thursday, November 6, 2025 in the Central Valley District Office Conference Room. Bids will not be accepted in the Conference Room.

OBTAINING ELECTRONIC BIDDING/CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Bidding/Contract Documents may be downloaded from the Plan and Print Systems, Inc. website for a non-refundable cost of $49.00. Electronic Contract Documents on a flash drive may also be obtained from Plan & Print (Telephone: 315-437-5111, Fax: 315-463-1510) upon payment of a non-refundable $49.00 plus shipping and handling per flash drive. Contact Plan & Print for shipping and handling costs. Checks shall be made payable to Plan & Print Systems, Inc.
OBTAINING PAPER BIDDING/CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Bidding/Bidding/Contract Documents may be obtained at Plan & Print, 6160 Eastern Ave, Syracuse, NY 13211 (telephone: 315-437-5111; fax: 315-463-1510) upon receipt of a $100 deposit per set. Deposit checks for Bidding/Contract Documents shall be made payable to Central Valley Central School District. Cash will not be accepted as a deposit. Prospective Bidders will be issued a maximum of four sets each. Subcontractors, material suppliers, etc., will be issued a maximum of two sets each.
Bidding/Bidding/Contract Documents will be delivered via UPS Ground service upon request and receipt of an additional non-refundable delivery and handling charge of $25 per set, payable by separate check payable to Plan & Print. All requests for delivery to locations outside of upstate New York will incur an additional shipping charge based on the metering increase for those locations.
Any sets required in excess of the above-mentioned maximums are to be obtained directly by interested parties at the full cost of printing directly from Plan & Print.
Only complete sets will be issued.
At the time the order is placed, plan holder shall advise Plan & Print of status as to prime bidder, subcontractor, or material supplier and to trade affiliation. A postal address, telephone number, fax number, and email address will also be required.
ADDENDA
Addenda for this project will be emailed to each plan holder of record, except as noted. Addenda containing full sized drawings will be issued in hard copy format only and sent via UPS. It is the responsibility of each prospective bidder to submit an accurate email address when requesting Bidding/Contract Documents and to download each addendum. Addenda will be sent to the e-mail address on record.
RETURN OF CONTRACT DOCUMENTS
Upon returning sets to Plan & Print, deposits will be refunded as follows:
l. A Bidder who submits a bid will be refunded its deposit in full.
2. A Bidder who does not submit a bid will not be refunded its deposit.
3. Subcontractors, material suppliers, and others will be refunded their deposits in full.
4. Deposits will not be refunded for documents returned in unusable condition or after 30 days.
5. All Contract Documents (except for those held by Successful Bidders) must be returned to Plan & Print.
RIGHT TO WAIVE OR REJECT
The Owner reserves the right to waive any informality in or to reject any or all Bids.
BID SECURITY
Each Bidder must deposit with its Bid, security in an amount and form subject to the conditions provided in the Bidding/Contract Documents.
WITHDRAWAL OF BIDS
Withdrawal of Bids will be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
COMPLETION TIME
The work of this project shall be completed by the date set forth in Section 011100 Summary of Work under article 1.5 "Project Schedule".
PRE-BID MEETING
There will not be a Pre-Bid Meeting
INSPECTION OF SITE
Bidders will be able to visit the project site at the convenience of the Central Valley Central School District with a minimum of forty-eight hours prior notification to Director of Facilities Gordon Miller, at 315-574-3108.
3108.REQUESTS FOR INFORMATION
Requests for interpretation, information or clarification (RFI) of the Contract Documents must be made in writing to King + King Architects. Responses to RFIs will not be made over the telephone. Responses to RFIs will be advisory only and will not modify the Contract Documents. The Contract Documents stand as published except as modified by written Addenda before bid and Modifications after execution of the Agreement.
