Call for Election CALL FOR ELECTION The Board of Directors of Buckeye Water Conservation and Drainage District hereby calls for an election to be held for the office of Division II Director on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. Nominating petitions can be filed by a candidate at the District office located at 205 Roosevelt Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326 anytime between Monday, June 15, 2026 and Monday, July 13, 2026. There is only one candidate expected to file nomination papers for each available position. The District expects that the election will be cancelled pursuant to A.R.S. § 16-410. As such, any write-in candidate nomination papers must be filed by a candidate at the District office located at 205 Roosevelt Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326 no later than July 27, 2026, in order to avoid having the election cancelled. If the election is not cancelled, a nominating petition signed by ten or more qualified electors in the District can be filed by a candidate at the District office located at 205 Roosevelt Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326 no later than Monday, November 2, 2026. If the election is not cancelled, the polls will be open at 8:00 a.m. and will close at 6:00 p.m. The polling place shall be the District office, located at 205 Roosevelt Avenue, Buckeye, Arizona 85326.
