City of Gastonia - Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) Request for Proposals The City of Gastonia (City) is seeking proposals from qualified agencies to serve in the capacity of a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO). The agency must qualify for the designation in order to be eligible to receive set-aside funds through the HOME Investment Partnership Program. Funds will be administered by the agency to develop rental or homeownership properties through either rehabilitation or new construction resulting in affordable housing opportunities within Gastonia and Gaston County. Interested parties shall submit a project proposal with the firm's ability to meet the thresholds for CHDO designation.
