City of Keithsburg Public Notice - Project Summary and Environmental Review To City of Keithsburg Residents: The City of Keithsburg is in the process of securing funding for a Water System Improvements Project consisting of water treatment improvements and new water meter purchase and installation. Prior to granting its approval of the proposed project and plan, the IEPA requires that the public be granted an opportunity to comment on the information presented. The City of Keithsburg is hereby making notice that a public hearing for the proposed Water System Improvements Projects will be held on March 16, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at the City Hall located at 302 South 14th Street, Keithsburg, IL 61442. Additionally, after the public hearing, a 10-day public comment period will commence on March 17, 2026, and end on March 26, 2026. Information on the proposed project and the IEPA Project Summary and Notice are available for public inspection at City Hall by appointment Monday- Friday. During this public comment period, written comments may be provided to the City of Keithsburg or directly to the IEPA contact person, which is Fred Blanford, Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, Infrastructure Financial Assistance Section, Bureau of Water, 2520 W.
