City of St. Cloud City Hall Saint Cloud, Minnesota 56301 OFFICIAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING FOR IMPROVEMENTS PLEASE TAKE NOTICE: That the City Council of the City of St. Cloud, Minnesota, at a regular meeting held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2025, ordered publication of the following: RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING TO CONSIDER 2026 BITUMINOUS STREET RESURFACING IMPROVEMENTS Section 3 WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution of the City Council adopted on December 15, 2025, a report has been prepared by the Engineering Department with reference to the proposed improvement of the 2026 Bituminous Street Resurfacing Improvements (segments listed in Appendix B of the Feasibility Report) and this report was received by the City Council on December 15, 2025; and WHEREAS, the report provides information regarding whether the proposed improvement is necessary, cost-effective and feasible; whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement; the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended; and a description of the methodology used to calculate individual assessments for affected parcels. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ST. CLOUD, MINNESOTA: 1. The City Council will consider the improvement of such street in accordance with the report and the assessment of benefiting property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvement pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, Chapter 429 at an estimated total cost of the improvement of $2,902,972. 2. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvement on the 12th day of January 2026, in the Council Chambers of the St. Cloud City Hall, 1201 – 7th Street South, at 6:00 o'clock p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvement as required by law.
