Class 1 Permit Modification Class I Permit Modification Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC (Syngenta) St. Gabriel, Louisiana, Iberville Parish Hazardous Waste Operating Permit # LAD053783445-OP-RN-3 AI #2367 Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC-St. Gabriel, LA Plant is providing this public notice in compliance with the Public Notice requirements of LAC 33:V.717.A.1.b and d and LAC 33:V.321.C.1.a.ii for Hazardous Waste Operating Permit LAD053783445-OP-RN-3 to all persons on the facility mailing list maintained by the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ). The purpose of the public notice is to notify interested parties that Syngenta Crop Protection, LLC located at 3905 HWY 75 in St. Gabriel, LA 70776, obtained approval from LDEQ for a Class 1 Permit Modification to the Hazardous Waste Operating Permit to update its Site Contingency Plan. The Site Contingency Plan is part of the LDEQ approved Syngenta Hazardous Waste Operating Permit and it includes procedures and equipment to be used to respond and minimize the impact of a hazardous waste release if it should occur. The Contingency Plan was revised to update phone numbers and current versions of safety procedures. A copy of the permit modification is available to the public on the LDEQ Electronic Data Management System (EDMS) and the East Iberville Branch Library - correspondence dated January 2026.
