Clive City Council Meeting Strategic Planning Work Session August 13, 2025 The strategic planning work session was held on Wednesday, August 15, 2024, at Clive City Hall, 1900 NW 114th Street, Clive, IA. Mayor Edwards presided and called the meeting to order at 3:20 p.m. Council members present were Breanne Hocker, Susan Judkins, Erik Klein, Michael McCoy, and Ted Weaver. City Manager Matt McQuillen, Assistant City Manager Pete De Kock, and Community Development Director Doug Ollendike were also present. Lyle Sumek of Lyle Sumek Associates Inc. led the strategic planning discussion. The Council continued its discussions from the August 11, 2025, work session. They identified multiple major projects and directed staff to prepare action plans to complete those projects within the next 12 months.
