Community Development Block Grant Public Roundtable Meeting Notice is hereby given that the City of Fort Smith will hold a public roundtable meeting to receive citizen input regarding the use of future Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The purpose of this meeting is to gather comments, ideas, and priorities from residents and stakeholders concerning community needs and funding strategies. Date: January 6, 2026 Time: 5:30 PM Location: The Blue Lion 101 North 2nd Street Fort Smith, AR Purpose of the Meeting: Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds are used to support eligible activities that include, but are not limited to: - Improvement of housing and neighborhood conditions - Development of public facilities and infrastructure - Provision of public services benefiting low- and moderate-income persons - Economic development activities that strengthen the community Public Participation: This meeting is open to all residents of the City of Fort Smith, local organizations, service providers, businesses, and other interested stakeholders.
