Coolbaugh Township Community Recycling Events Community Shred Events: Saturday, April 10, 2026 from 9am-2:30PM Saturday, October 3, 2026 from 9am – 2:30pm Both shred events will be held at the Coolbaugh Township Volunteer Fire Company parking lot located at 652 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna, PA. Residents must bring ID and there is a maximum of 20 boxes per residence. Shredding services will be provided by DES Community Partners Recycling. Community Bulk Drop Off Events: The Coolbaugh Township Drop Off and Recycling Site located at 549 Laurel Drive, Tobyhanna, PA will be open on the following days in 2026 from 7:30 am – 3:00 pm (Closed from noon – 12:30 pm for lunch): • Friday, April 10, 2026 • Saturday, April 11, 2026 • Friday, June 5, 2026 • Saturday, June 6, 2026 • Friday August 7, 2026 • Saturday August 8, 2026 • Friday October 2, 2026 • Saturday October 3, 2026 Recycling permits for Township residents will be processed through the township website: www.coolbaughtwp.org , click on Permit Submissions, then click Apply for a New Permit, then enter your property address; under the permit type option, select Recycling Permit. Please enter all the information requested. On the next screen labeled Upload Documents, simply click Next. You will then receive a confirmation that the permit has been received. Once you have registered and received the confirmation number, you will need to bring your driver's license and/or proof of residency to the recycling center on the date of the bulk drop off event.
