2026-2027 Draft Annual Action Plan Invites Public Review & Comment
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – Cumberland County Community Development is pleased to announce the commencement of the public review and comment period for the 2026-2027 Annual Action Plan (AAP) Draft. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in this important process, offering their insights and feedback on the AAP Draft. The review period will extend through April 20, 2026.
The Annual Action Plan Program Year spans from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027. Copies of the draft plan are readily accessible and can be obtained online at cumberlandcountync.gov/community-development or in person at the Community Development office located at 707 Executive Place in Fayetteville. Additionally, the draft plan will be presented and can be acquired at various physical locations throughout the county. Requests for emailed copies are also accommodated upon inquiry.

The FY 26-27 Annual Action Plan is a document outlining specific projects slated for implementation during the Program Year 2026. Once finalized, the plan is submitted to the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
An essential component of this process is the public hearing that will be held at the Judge E. Maurice Braswell Courthouse 117 Dick Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. This hearing will be accessible for participation via live stream through various platforms including the Cumberland County website, YouTube, and CCNC-TV Spectrum Cable Channel 5.
