DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION WETLANDS PROGRAM 401 Water Quality Certification Application Public Notice Pursuant to 33.U.S.C.1341 and MGL c21 §43, notice is hereby given of a 401 Water Quality Certification (WQC) application for the Barnstable Town-Wide Comprehensive Dredging and Beach Nourishment Permit for various Town Channels and Beaches by the Town of Barnstable on property owned or managed by the Town of Barnstable. The Town proposes dredging of nineteen (19) areas with beneficial use of dredged sand at nine (9) Town Beaches as needed and allowed by the permits for a period of ten (10) years.
