DEQ NOTICE OF TIER II PERMIT APPLICATION FILING
A Tier II application for an air quality Title V Construction Permit has been filed with the Oklahoma Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) by applicant, Oklahoma City Waste Disposal, Inc. located at 7600 SW 15th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73128.
The applicant requests approval to install a flare at the Oklahoma Landfill located at 7600 SW 15th Street, Oklahoma City, OK 73128 and legally described as Section 8, Township 11N, Range 4W in Oklahoma County.
The application may be reviewed at the Midwest City Library, 8143 E. Reno Avenue, Midwest City, OK 73110 or at the Air Quality Division's main office (see address below). Additionally, the application may be obtained in an electronic form by direct request of the Chief Engineer by the methods listed below. The status of all permit applications is also available for review in the Air Quality Section of DEQ's Web Page: https://oklahoma.gov/deq.html
After reviewing the application, the DEQ will prepare either a draft permit or a draft denial. At that time another notice will be published about where to review the draft, how to submit written comments on the draft and request a public meeting.
