DEQ seeks comments on proposed Completion of Environmental Cleanup at Union Pacific Railroad Eugene Yard. The Oregon Department of Environmental Quality invites the public to submit written comments on a proposed certification that cleanup activities at the Union Pacific Railroad yard in Eugene have been completed in accordance with the Voluntary Agreement for Remedial Design and Remedial Action between DEQ and Union Pacific Railroad. DEQ has determined that cleanup requirements for the property have been satisfied and proposes to issue a Certificate of Completion.
