IN RE THE DETACHMENT-ANNEXATION OF REAL ESTATE OWNER ASHLEE VANETTEN AND MARK VANETTEN. JOHNNY CLOSE AND JOHN ERMELING ARE INCLUDED IN NAMED IN PETITION FOR THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF CONTIGUITY TO THE HAVANA SCHOOL DISTRICT.
PETITION FOR DETACHMENT OF TERRITORY FROM ILLINI CENTRAL COMMUNITY SCHOOL DISTRICT #189 AND ANNEX TO HAVANA COMMUNITY UNIT SCHOOL DISTRICT #126.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on the 26th day of January 2026, A.D., there was presented to and filed with the Regional Board of School Trustees of Mason, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties, Illinois, a petition signed by at least two-thirds of the owners of record of the territories, hereafter described, praying that said board shall, after given notice of the presentation, filing and hearing on said petitions in accordance with the Statutes, enter an order detaching, the following described territories, to wit:
Parcel I:
A part of the North 25 acres of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 24, Township 20 North. Range 8 West of the Third Principal Meridian, Mason County, Illinois, described using bearings based on the Illinois State Plane Coordinate System NAD-83 (2011 ADJ) IL-West Zone, more particularly described as follows:

NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a public hearing upon said petitions will be held before the Ex-Officio Secretary of the Regional Board of School Trustees of Mason, Tazewell, and Woodford Counties, Illinois, at Five Points (Banquet Room D) in Washington, IL 61571, on Monday, the 6th day of April 2026, A.D. at 4:00 p.m. at which time any resident in the territories described in said petition or any resident in any district affected by the proposed change in boundaries may appear in support of the petitions or to object to the granting of the petition.
